Tonight around 1900 Station 70 was dispatched for a structure fire in the 11000 block of Station Rd. Chief 700 and Engine 704 responded with mutual aid from Fuller Hose Co# 1 , Wattsburg Hose Company and Crescent Hose Company . Chief 700 arrived on scene and report a 2 story wood frame reidence nothing showing from the exterior and assumed command. Engine 704 arrived on scene. After further investigation fire was extinguished prior to arrival. Engine 704 crew provided ventilation of the structure. Command was canceled short time later and all units returned in service. Thanks to our mutual aid for their rapid responses also. And just a reminder to keep the area around your furnace clear of any debris.
